This past June 4th, culinary excellence took center stage in Madrid thanks to Jamones Blázquez and chef Óscar Velasco, during an exclusive lunch hosted by the Spanish Luxury Association, Luxury Spain. The event gathered 35 guests from the gourmet world around a menu specially crafted at VelascoAbellà, an acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant, where Blázquez’s iberico products emerged as the true protagonists.
A Luxurious Experience with Luxury Spain
Luxury Spain once again brought together brands united by a shared vision: the relentless pursuit of excellence. On this occasion, names like Real Caviar, Castillo de Canena, Bodegas Habla, and Baines joined a culinary proposal that celebrated craftsmanship and gastronomic luxury.
For this date, chef Óscar Velasco designed a culinary journey that featured carefully selected, exceptional products. Among them, Blázquez’s iberico selections stood out for their authenticity and their power to elevate any contemporary creation.
Blázquez’s iberico products were especially praised, starring in three of the most applauded dishes of the day, showcasing their versatility within high-end contemporary cuisine:

- Cured Iberico Ventresca on crisp bread and pickled onion: A delicate bite that highlights the rich texture and deep flavor of this cured delicacy.
- Blázquez iberico acorn ham with quail eggs, pisto and cold onion soup: A dish that masterfully fuses tradition and technique, with the ham as its unifying thread.
- Blázquez Iberico pork chop with red onion, mint and cilantro: A creation that celebrates the noble character of the iberico pig, elevated by fresh, aromatic ingredients.
